The AVIS Safety Commitment is our firm promise
to ensure the safety of all our customers and employees.
For this reason, we have taken security measures
in all areas of the rental experience.

 

AT THE RENTAL
OFFICE

  • Social distancing markings clearly indicated on the floors of the rental offices.
  • Staff provided with masks and gloves.
  • Protective partitions in many of our rental counters.
  • Hand antibacterial for clients.
  • Deep cleaning of counters and all high-touch areas.

WHEN COLLECTING
THE VEHICLE

  • Staff provided with masks and gloves.
  • Cleaning of our vehicles with authorized disinfectants before each rental.
  • Special attention is paid to steering wheels, turn signals, grab bars, radio controls, cup holders, center consoles and door handles, both interior and exterior ones.

WHEN RETURNING
THE VEHICLE

  • Staff provided with masks and gloves.
  • Driving the car to the return zone or lane.
  • Return process without any contact.
  • Bill statement sent via email after the rental.
  • Cleaning of our vehicles with authorized disinfectants before each rental.

AVIS Preferred customers can use the self-service
feature of the Avis app at select "self-collect" locations in Europe.
This allows customers to directly access the car without having to go through the rental counter.
